What You'll Learn
WEEK 1
The grief of pregnancy loss can feel so isolating but there are many common emotions that people share during this time. By exploring these together, you’ll feel less alone and more empowered.
WEEK 2
In this session we will offer practical advice on how to move through grief and talk about why there is no right time or right way to cope with your loss and help you understand that moving on doesn’t mean letting go.
WEEK 3
Guilt, shame and self-criticism are so common after pregnancy loss. You will learn about managing our inner critic and treating ourselves with compassion.
WEEK 4
Techniques like journaling, mindfulness, gratitude and movement can all help you on your healing journey. Our self-care experts will help you discover which tools work best for you – and encourage you to prioritize yourself as you navigate grief.
WEEK 5
Relationships can be tough following pregnancy loss, but your support network is essential as you move through the grieving process. This session focuses on nurturing those relationships and communicating your needs and feelings effectively.

As the programme comes to an end, this is a chance to reflect on the past few weeks and help you understand that it is possible to grow through your grief whilst still honouring the impact your baby has had on your life.

Frequently Asked Questions
I lost my baby a while ago, is this programme for me?
This programme is for anyone who is struggling to heal from their grief after pregnancy loss. For some people this can be something they have carried around for years; a previous course member spoke about a loss she had been through 10 years ago. Wherever you are on your journey, we’ll meet you there and support you.
I think I might be dealing with depression or PTSD, is this programme right for me?
Research has shown that many women struggle with mental health issues after pregnancy loss, so you’re not alone. If you think you may be suffering from PTSD, it is important to speak to your doctor as soon as possible – they will be able to help you. Whilst this course may help ease some of the emotional burden of pregnancy loss, PTSD requires specific medical attention.
I’m struggling to conceive after loss, is this programme for me?
If you’re finding that your grief is impacting your fertility journey, this programme will be helpful. We explore a number of self-care techniques that will help you if you TTC journey.
Is the programme live or self-paced?
The weekly webinars are live on Wednesday evenings GMT. Whilst our experts are based in the UK we had people join us from all over the world!
If you miss one session don’t worry. We will send you a recording of the session so you can watch at your own pace.
The in-depth course guide is packed full of information and tools that you can read and digest in your own time, but the webinars are a great opportunity to ask our experts any questions you may have and process emotions that may have come up with a group of women who know what you’re going through.
I can’t make all the sessions, can I still join?
Of course! We do recommend you attend as many sessions as possible to get the most value from our experts, but if you miss one or two – that’s fine.
We don’t record the sessions as standard, but in the past we have asked the group if they minded us recording particular sessions people are missing, so we can send a copy to them. These are shared privately with a password.
I’m grieving after a failed IVF round, is this programme for me?
Definitely. We believe there is no hierarchy to grief and a pregnancy loss at any stage is heartbreaking. Our experts are experienced at working with women who have felt loss through IVF, ectopic pregnancy, miscarriage and still births.
Do you offer payment plans?
We want to make sure everyone can access this course, regardless of their financial situation. If you feel like you can’t pay the full fee upfront, get in touch at hello@myparla.com and we will be able to tell you more about our payment plans.
